Los Angeles Crime Stoppers
The purpose of Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers is to prevent and reduce crime, by forming a partnership among the community, law enforcement and the media to offer anonymity and cash rewards to anyone providing information leading to an arrest, thereby making the community a safer place for all who live or work in the region.
We-Tip
WeTip was founded in 1972 as an anonymous crime reporting resource for citizens, and a tool to aid law enforcement. This tremendously successful program has dramatically impacted crime and has significantly reduced crime incidents in communities and schools nationwide.
Independent Cities Association (ICA)
The Independent Cities Association (ICA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that was established by cities that provide their own fire and/or police services in Southern California to represent the interests of those cities collectively.
Law Enforcement Partnerships
LA IMPACT
The Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Task Force (IMPACT) is a compilation of 32 Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement agencies in Los Angeles County. The primary focus is to investigate major crimes, with an emphasis on dismantling mid to major level drug trafficking organizations. The task force was developed by the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs Association who act as the Board of Directors. The Executive Council is comprised of approximately 13 department heads from participating local police agencies, Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department and the California Department of Justice, Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement. The Task Force is comprised of approximately 75 sworn officers and a civilian administrative manager.
LA CLEAR
The Los Angeles Clearinghouse (LA CLEAR) provides deconfliction for agencies throughout Southern California. LA CLEAR was developed by the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs Association and one Los Angeles Chief serves as their Director.
Joint Regional Information Center (JRIC)
TLO.org provides Terrorism Liaison Officers (TLOs) and Fusion Liaison Officers (FLOs) with easy-to-access unclassified information regarding threats, trends, and news items of interest. TLO.org is managed by the Los Angeles Joint Regional Intelligence Center (JRIC).
California Police Officers Association (CPOA)
The California Peace Officers’ Association serves the needs of professional law enforcement through issue exploration, resource development, educational opportunities, and legislative advocacy. CPOA has more than 3,000 members of all ranks from municipal, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies from throughout the state of California.
